Reasor’s Raised over $126,000 for KJRH Channel 2 Food 2 Families Campaign Benefiting the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma

Beginning November 16th through December 13, Reasor’s customers donated over $126,000 to the Annual Food 2 Families Campaign benefiting the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. Purchases of pre-made sacks as well as donation cards taken at the register and online resulted in the raised funds. Thank you to our very giving community for helping make this possible. Every dollar donated will help provide four meals for those struggling with hunger in our community.

All non-perishable food items will go to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma that works with a network of 400 partner programs in 24 counties of eastern Oklahoma. These programs include food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters, child feeding programs, senior feeding programs, and veteran’s initiatives. Through this network, the food bank provides more than 500,000 meals each week. During Fiscal Year 2021, they distributed more than 32.7 million pounds of food.
