Reasor’s Kicks Off the 2017 Food 2 Families Campaign Benefiting the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma

Beginning Nov. 15th, Reasor’s customers can choose to donate to the Annual Food 2 Families Campaign benefiting the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. There are three ways you can support this great initiative.

1. Purchase non-perishable food items and drop them in the donation bins in the store.
2. Purchase a pre-made sack of the most needed items for $15. The pre-made sacks are filled with much needed items and bundled at a 10% discount from original retail price.
3. Pick up a scan card and donate any amount you would like at one of our registers. For every dollar you donate at the register, you will help provide 4 meals for those struggling with hunger in our community.

Donations for the campaign will be accepted until Dec. 12, 2017.

 

All non-perishable food items will go to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma that works with a network of 465  partner programs in 24 counties of eastern Oklahoma. These programs include food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters, after school programs , veterans, and senior citizen initiatives. Through this network, the food bank provides more than  meals each week. During Fiscal Year 2017 they distributed more than  million pounds of food.

One of the most important ways you can support the Community Food Bank is by joining their recurring giving plan, Breadwinners. Breadwinners help the Community Food Bank plan for the year ahead by providing scheduled donations to make sure they can provide nutritious food all year long.

• Flexibility to change your donation at any time
• Quarterly newsletters to introduce you to the people whose lives you have changed

 

By becoming a Breadwinner, you will be supporting eastern Oklahoma’s largest private hunger-relief charity  and making a positive impact on thousands of lives by providing hope, in the form of food, to hungry Oklahomans.

*A minimum donation of $10 per month or $30 per quarter is required to be included as a Breadwinner
