Sheboygan Falls, Wis. (March 15, 2018) – At Johnsonville, we are committed to delivering the highest quality products and we take the safety and integrity of our products very seriously. One of our products, Johnsonville Jalapeno Cheddar Smoked Sausage, is subject to a voluntary recall because it may contain plastic fragments. There have been three incidents reported, with no known or confirmed occurrences of illness or injury associated with consumption of this product.

The recall is limited to 14 oz. packages of Johnsonville Jalapeno Cheddar Smoked Sausage links with a “Best Flavor By” date of 04/04/2018.  This product was shipped to retail locations in 36 states. No other Johnsonville products or smoked sausage flavors are affected by this recall.

We are working with our retail partners to remove the affected product from stores.
